Every Saturday without fail, I get a call around the same time. When I block one number, another similar one pops up. Usually, it’s someone speaking with a really heavy Asian accent. They always start by asking if they’re speaking to someone random. Today I just told them to hold on while I “got him”, then put the phone down to make a cuppa and hit block again.

This number called me saying it was Microsoft and that my IP address had issues. I tried to get their number so I could call back and verify, but they wouldn't give it to me. So, I ended the call. They called again immediately and still wouldn’t share their contact details. From what I found out, it seems like a scam. Best just to ignore and hang up if they ring you.

Just got a ring from this number, some bloke named Edwin saying he was from the Microsoft tech support. Looked a bit dodgy to me, definitely a scam.
