i got a call from this number and they actually knew my full name. when i asked what they wanted, the guy said he just needed a quick 30 second chat. what’s that all about??

This number said it was BT but when I said something, she actually called me a liar! That really got on my nerves. These scammers need to be stopped for good.

Had a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying my PC was sending out harmful packets. The bloke had a heavy Indian accent and was pretty rude. I told him straight my call was being recorded and that I'm reporting him to the cops for scamming. I reckon the number he called from was spoofed, probably an IP trick. He threatened to cut off my internet if I didn’t let him ‘fix’ my Windows. I wasn’t having any of it and told him where to shove it. Honestly, these calls are nasty and super risky - someone less clued-up could easily fall for it.
