I suspect this number is definitely dodgy. They claimed to be from EE, saying I was eligible for an upgrade, but then promptly requested my sort code and account number for a credit check. I happen to be an existing customer with a direct debit set up, so I politely declined to give any details. The chap then abruptly ended the call, and when I attempted to ring back, the line was silent. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
