Got a call supposedly from Sky about renewing our TV insurance. The person kept insisting we’d been paying monthly by direct debit, which I knew wasn’t true. When I asked him for the last three digits of the bank account they were taking money from, he said he couldn’t give them but offered some of the contract number instead. I told him that it wasn’t our contract at all and called it out as a scam. Then they just hung up on me.
