4 yearsI've found myself in a bit of a pickle, as someone is attempting to swindle me again, capitalizing on a previous unfortunate encounter I had with an online investment scam.5 yearsReceived a call regarding supposed issues with my National Insurance Number. Absolute rubbish, if you ask me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.5 yearsI received a rather disconcerting message, seemingly generated by some sort of automated system. The voice claimed that if I dismissed the alert, I could find myself facing a magistrate! Apparently, my National Insurance Number has been ‘disabled,’ which is baffling, as I’ve never encountered such a scenario before. My husband has also received a similar call. In fact, we’ve both experienced this oddity on multiple occasions. Naturally, we presume it's a scam, but the fact that this particular number has only been searched a mere seven times piques my curiosity. It either suggests a fresh scam (how fortunate for us! :p) or it merits further investigation. A quick note for anyone else reading: always reach out directly to the relevant institutions or government agencies if you suspect that a peculiar message might hold any truth. If it were legitimate, they would happily confirm it to you in person. Personally, I wouldn’t place any trust in a call of this nature before independently verifying its authenticity.5 yearsI'm looking for information regarding court summons and the legalities surrounding them. Any insights would be appreciated!Submit Your Own Report (020 3790 3740)
