Sounds like a possible scam to me. They rang up purporting to discuss some purported NHS abuse case linked to my name. Threw out a case number, but it was a one-off, never repeated, and offered no way to reach them back. The moment I hesitated and didn’t hit 1 to connect with someone within mere seconds, they cut off the call. I have my suspicions; if this were genuinely from the NHS, surely it wouldn’t be from a new number, and I would expect to find something online about it. Seems quite fishy, doesn’t it?
