This afternoon, a lady rang me claiming my washing machine guarantee had expired and pushed me to buy an extended warranty. She said she’d stay on the phone while I found my bank card or bank statement. I told her my husband usually sorts these things, but she said since it was my name, she had to speak with me. When I said I didn’t have a bank card, she got annoyed and started hassling me, saying I had to have one and to stop being foolish. I repeated that I didn’t have a card, and then she just hung up on me!
