Didn’t answer this number at all, but the following day I got a call from 02081642828. A robotic voice started going on about it being a criminal offence or something, but I just hung up before it went too far.

I got a call from this number, then later received a couple of texts - supposedly from NatWest and Halifax saying I’d just arranged a new payment. Total laugh though, coz both texts came from a mobile starting with 077, not the usual bank numbers.
