Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I told them right away that my number's on the TPS list and they wasn't allowed to ring me. As soon as I mentioned that, the line went dead. Calling a TPS registered number is illegal, no doubt. So either this really is Carphone Warehouse ignoring the law or, more likely, it's some scammer pretending to be them. Either way, I wouldn't pick up if this number calls you.

For a few months now, I keep getting calls every now and then from numbers beginning with 020 3789 but the last four digits always seem to swap around. I've blocked loads of these, they’re proper annoying, but then another number with different ending rings me again! Sometimes it’s like 3 or 4 times in one day, but not all days, probably like 2 to 4 days a week.
