I received a call from this number earlier today. The woman on the other end, speaking with a distinctly Indian accent, insisted that I provide various personal details before she would verify her identity or the company she represented, which she claimed was Carphone Warehouse. I have a strong suspicion that this is a scam, so I urge everyone to be cautious!

A chap rang me up purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse. The moment I indicated I was onto his little ruse, he abruptly ended the call. Classic!

Someone rang me saying they were from Carphone Warehouse and offered a phone upgrade because my contract was ending soon - but mine doesn’t expire for another year! When I got put through, the call just dropped. After that, I got roughly 10 more calls at random times from different 0203 786 numbers. Tried calling them back but couldn’t get through. When I googled those numbers, nothing linked them to Carphone Warehouse, just some warnings about scams. Definitely felt dodgy.
