I called 1471 to check the number and then searched it on this site. I also signed up for a "free" BioSlim sample. They asked me to pay for postage, but then I spotted some tiny, nearly invisible terms and conditions saying that by requesting the free sample I was actually agreeing to a membership fee costing £X, plus monthly charges after. It’s easy for folks to fall for this and end up paying without realising what they’re getting into.

I got sent from a supposedly legit article claimin to offer a free sample of some beauty product meant to be on Shark Tank. I clicked the link, put in my address and phone number, then suddenly it took me to a paying page?? They say the sample is free but you gotta pay 5 quid for shipping plus like 3 quid for "insurance" so it doesn’t disappear?? Smells fishy to me so I bailed. Then like 10 minutes later, I get two calls from them pushin me to pay up - as if I’m gonna let them dip into my bank like that!

I've gone through the same thing. After you've asked them nicely to take you off their mailing list or to delete your number from their records, it's against the law for them to keep ringing you under the current GDPR laws. They could end up getting proper heavy fines if they dont stop bothering you.

I was approached with an enticing offer for a complimentary sample of BioSlim, with the promise that I'd only need to cover £2.95 for postage and packing. In a moment of weakness, I foolishly provided my name, address, and my home phone number rather than my mobile. To my astonishment, I found that they also required my card information in the second part of their request. I swiftly deleted all my information, and I’m glad I used my landline since it's easier for me to block those pesky calls rather than my mobile. No sooner had I opted out than I got an email imploring me to re-enter my details. Shortly after that, I received a call from 02037817526. Since then, I’ve had about 10 calls from the same number - the phone rings twice then cuts off, and I didn’t pick up any of them. When I tried calling back, it sounded like it connected to somewhere way out of England. Got a call on a Bank Holiday from someone using my first name, no clue who it was. I asked twice “Who’s this?” and the bloke said I was being rude for not letting him get a word in. When I asked again who he was, he just hung up. From what I’ve read in other comments, sounds like it’s connected to BioSlim, one of those “free colon cleanse” samples I ordered. I found 95 complaints about this firm on a US consumer site, with many saying the sales team got aggressive when folks tried to cancel. Refunds are between 35% and 50% of what you paid, plus they slap on a 15% restocking charge. There was even a clip with Holly Willoughby backing it, but I reckon that was probably fake. Never hand over your bank details from Facebook ads. I responded to an advertisement regarding raspberry ketones, but my bank has since flagged my order and put a stop to it. It seems to be a phishing scam. I recommend that everyone steer clear of them. They have a sneaky way of billing you nearly £80 each month once the initial trial period ends.

I responded to an advert for raspberry keystone, which was supposed to be a dietary supplement. I didn’t hand over any bank info because after the trial they would’ve charged me about £79.50 monthly. I’ve deleted all my details, but looks like they still have my phone number. So far, I've had three calls from them.
