Got a call on my phone from someone saying it was about loft insulation. I thought I’d humour them for a while. They called me by the wrong name but I just went with it. Then the caller asked if I owned the house, which I said yes to, and then whether I was between 35 and 79 years old. I fibbed and said no, and they just said thanks and hung up. I asked them about the loft insulation anyway, and they said someone would ring me back. Bit odd if you ask me.

I received a call from these fraudsters who seemed to have all my details, including my name and address. They claimed to be carrying out a brief survey related to people’s lifestyle choices. I’ve since blocked their number! To top it off, their grasp of English was quite dreadful.

What a bunch of swindlers masquerading as legitimate callers! It seems these international con artists are at it again, fleecing folks not just across the pond in the States but right here in the UK too-all in the name of a quick buck. I received a call where they enquired, "Do you have your card handy? I'd like you to share the details." My instant reaction was, "What on earth do you want my card for?" These fraudsters are ringing up anyone they can find, playing their deceitful games without a second thought. It's utterly ridiculous!

There’s so much hidden stuff out there that makes you question what’s real, all covered up with scenes of dishonesty. Had a call from an Indian scammer. On the first ring, they asked for my address. Next time, they wanted info like my age, height, weight, skin tone, and eye colour. Then on the third call, they straight up asked for my bank details. When they said “please give me your bank account”, I just told em no way, not doing that!

Honestly, I always skip putting my home address on my CV, just to be safe. I’m pretty sure that’s how she found my details and called me out of the blue. I said straight away, “Please remove me from your contacts.” These scam folks just wanna grab your “address” so they can keep calling you endlessly. It’s a total trap to get you caught up in their nonsense.

It's absolutely crucial to refrain from including your home address on your CV. As for the fraudsters-it's quite alarming how they managed to obtain my NAME and “address.” I requested to be removed from their list, and have no intention of engaging further. Here's the tactic: these con artists will request your “ADDRESS,” and before you know it, you’re ensnared by their constant phone calls. Stay vigilant!
