I rang back but honestly couldn’t tell who was on the other end, sounded all weird. Plus, Inland Revenue normally just sends letters, they don’t phone you up out of the blue. Then right away, they asked for my personal info which totally set off alarm bells. Feels like those Nigerian scammers are trying to do the same tax scam here as they did over in the States.
