Loads of calls from 020 numbers have been coming through lately. I couldn’t answer this one, so I’m not sure if it was legit or not. Since they didn’t leave a voicemail and haven’t called back, it probably wasn’t anything urgent.

I received a call which was clearly an automated spiel claiming I’d won £500 or some high street vouchers. Honestly, I barely caught the full gist of it since I ended the call swiftly - didn’t want to risk being charged for what felt like yet another bothersome telemarketing ploy. Interestingly enough, just last week I had a similar experience, but they were luring me in with the promise of an iPad instead of vouchers this time! What a racket!

It’s quite clear they’re dodging disclosing their company name to steer clear of any potential legal repercussions. Regardless, I’ll be lodging a complaint regarding this number with the ICO. I’m absolutely fed up; it feels like clockwork with at least three of these calls landing on my phone each week.

It's astonishing how they can’t hold off until 9 o’clock! I received a pre-recorded message informing me that I’ve supposedly won £500 worth of high street vouchers. It instructed me to hit 5 to claim my 'prize' or 9 if I wanted to be removed from the list. I never signed up for any of this nonsense, you idiots!
