I received a rather dodgy call from someone sounding like a woman with a South Asian accent, claiming to be from BT. She went on about how someone had supposedly accessed my router without any sort of password or verification. Then she insisted I "turn on my computer!" When I refused, she had the audacity to threaten to disconnect my internet for two whole weeks! Quite scandalous, really!

I got a call from a lady with an accent from the sub-continent claiming she was from BT. She said someone had hacked into my router without needing any password or anything. Then she told me to “turn on your computer!” When I refused, she said they’d cut my internet off for two weeks! Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
