So I got a call from someone saying they were from HM Revenue and Customs about a letter I supposedly sent back. When I asked this woman with an Asian accent what the call was about, she just ended the call on me. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call on my dad’s mobile today, and I’m pretty sure it was a scam. Since my dad was tied up in a meeting, he passed the phone to me to handle it. Even with his go-ahead, the caller said I wasn’t allowed to speak for my dad and just hung up. When I tried asking who they were and what the call was about, they totally clammed up. Pretty sure they got nervous, maybe thought I was some kind of cop or something.

I got a call from some foreign woman called Jenny, who wanted me to sit in front of my computer. I wasn’t too sure what it was about and asked a few questions. Then she handed me over to a bloke called Mark Lenard, who quickly got a bit rude and accused me of wasting their precious time! Haha, I just ended the call. Luckily, I recorded the whole thing.

Earlier today, I received a phone call from this number. An Indian lady named Karen was on the line, claiming to be from Windows, stating that there had been some error messages indicating problems. I informed her that the only device I use is a work computer, so clearly, she had her facts all mixed up.

Got a call today on my mobile from someone saying they were with Windows support. They said my computer had some issues and said they could fix them for me. Something didn’t sit right so I asked if they could send me a legitimate email from Microsoft explaining the call. The guy said no, that they couldn’t email me as they deal with loads of people all the time. Honestly, the fact they refused to give any proof just made me more suspicious.

This bloke was clearly trying to scam me, said he was from Windows and wanted to get into my computer. I kept him chatting for a bit, asking all sorts like his name, until he figured out I wasn't gonna fall for it.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he's from Microsoft, trying to sneak into my computer. I pretended to cooperate but didn’t let him do anything. Then I just told the guy, who had an accent that sounded Asian, to piss off as there’s no way he’s getting into my PC. He asked me what I was going to do next, so I just spelled out a rude word and he quickly hung up. Total scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from Microsoft, asking me to switch on me computer. I told him to hang on while I did it, left him waiting for about 5 minutes. When I checked if he was still there, he said yeah. I joked that my computer runs on gas and I had to light the pilot light. That didn’t go down well - he swore at me and hung up straight away. Proper laugh!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, said there was an issue with my computer. I told them I don’t own a computer at all, but they kept pushing like “Are you 100% sure?” Asked if I had a laptop or anything. Total scammer for sure, decided to block the number right away.

Some bloke rang me up, claiming he was having issues with Windows on his machine. I suggested he chat with my husband, who's got a background in IT. After firing off a few queries, he lost his cool and called my husband a rather unsavoury name, telling him to shove off! Quite the laugh, isn’t it?

Just got a ring from this number at the same moment I had a call from TRURO 01872 487982, which is another annoying pest. What are the chances eh? I usually don’t pick up from unknown numbers - I always have a quick look on this site first. Proper glad I ignored them. Gonna save this number under "muppets" in my contacts so if they buzz me again, I’ll at least be ready for a laugh if I pick up.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft regarding my laptop. When I asked for specifics about which device they were referring to, they had the cheek to inquire if I even owned a laptop! I pushed back, pointing out that if they were truly calling about it, they ought to have that info already. They didn’t like that much and promptly ended the call!
