Honestly, just ignore it, don’t pick up the phone!

Got a call from some bloke who wanted to chat about some online investment deal, saying I signed up for it (which I defo didn’t). He kept insisting I must’ve just forgotten about it and said he could help me earn a bit of cash! Didn’t even bother telling me which firm he was with. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away - sounded like a total scammer having a go.

Others have looked up this number before and mentioned it might be a scam. I chose not to answer when they rang today, and there was no voicemail left. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of dodgy calls pretending to be from HMRC, so this could well be another one of those. Could also be one of those accident claim calls or just some other sort of fraud.
