I keep getting calls from this number, and I really wish they'd cease. It's quite vexing, to be honest. When I attempted to return the call, the first time I got no response at all. On the second attempt, the person who answered didn’t bother to mention which company they represented. It seems like there are multiple individuals answering the line, which is rather odd.

Got a call claiming I'd been in some sort of accident, I told him I hadn’t and he started asking stuff like "do you own a car?" and "did you get hurt at work?" then insisted I had been in an accident. When I told him to take me off their list, he tried to speak to my husband (??) and kept asking if I was single. I kept saying to remove my number and then he said he needed my name to do it. Honestly, most bizarre and cheeky PPI call I’ve had yet.

Then they asked what exactly happened, so I said i’d been heading to the shop and took a tumble. They hung up right away after that. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

However, when I mentioned that I work as an accident claims agent, the caller promptly cut the conversation short and hung up. It’s quite frustrating! If only I could trace this number. I encountered a rather unpleasant individual who was both uncivil and brusque. They never bothered to mention their name or the company they represented. Their aggressive demeanor left much to be desired, especially as they demanded personal information without any justification whatsoever.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent asking about some accident, kept going on about the TPS check and why he was ringing me. Told him to stop calling, let’s see if he listens! Honestly, the ICO needs to step up and start cracking down harder, maybe take these pest callers to court or something.
