02037739951 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02037739951 👆 is reported as a persistent and bothersome caller linked to a domestic appliance insurance scam. The callers often claim to be renewing or offering discounted appliance cover, despite many recipients never having signed up. They tend to have some personal details like name and address, but pressure people for payment or card information, often ceasing calls when challenged. The calls frequently feature foreign-accented representatives and have been flagged as aggressive or misleading. Many have ignored or blocked the number due to repeated unwanted contact, and several users emphasise that this appears to be a fraud rather than a legitimate business. Registration with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) seems ineffective in preventing these nuisance calls. Caution and scepticism are strongly advised.

This number rings me every now and then, always asking for someone by name.

I got a call from a woman who spoke with a strong foreign accent, saying my washing machine's insurance was running out soon. She tried to sell me a cheaper renewal deal. I told her it wasn’t necessary since my washer still has a 5-year warranty. Honestly, her accent made it quite difficult to catch everything she was saying.

They said it was about renewing insurance for electrical stuff. But I don’t get it, cos I never signed up for anything like that in the first place.

I just ignored the call completely and let them ramble on, spending their cash talking to no one really.

Got a call from a woman trying to get us to renew some white goods insurance we don't even have. When I told her that, she kept insisting we did and pushed to carry on with it. I just don’t understand why they don’t find a proper job instead of hassling people like this. Guess the honest work doesn’t pay as well or something. Honestly, I’m sick of all these dodgy scams!

Got a call from some appliance insurance fraud, said I'd already shelled out for the same cover last year which I definitely hadn't. I kept trying to explain myself but he just wouldn’t stop going on. I tried to say I wasn’t interested but then he straight up told me to be quiet, claiming he was actually doing me a favour by saving cash. Not exactly the behaviour of a polite English bloke, that’s for sure.

Got a call today and foolishly hit the button to bypass BT Guardian. As soon as I figured out it was a scam, I stayed on the line just to waste their time before hanging up. Total SCAM, watch out lads!

This week I've had loads of calls about home appliance insurance, different numbers and folks each time but all saying the same thing. I kept telling them to take me off their list since I’m not interested. They're pretty irritable on the phone but honestly, I couldn’t care less. It’s starting to annoy me quite a bit now.

I’ve been getting calls about home appliance insurance nonstop this week. It’s always a different number and a different person, but they all say the same thing. I’ve told them to take my info off their list since I don’t want anything to do with it. They don’t seem bothered that I’m annoyed. Honestly, it’s starting to really wind me up now.

Got a call about renewing some kind of appliance insurance with a "huge discount". Thing is, I’ve never even had that insurance before. Told the bloke he was trying to scam me and he got really annoyed and started denying it. Wouldn’t bother picking up if I were you.

Got a call from 02037739951, some Chinese lady pushing electrical insurance really hard. She kept going on about how I absolutely needed it. Honestly, just hanging up is the easiest way to deal with these scammy folks.

I got a call about insuring my household appliances, but as soon as I said “scam”, they hung up straight away... quite fishy if you ask me!

They must be working off some really outdated info, probably from like 20 years ago or more. Just don’t pay any attention to them, it’s definitely a scam.

They keep ringing about some appliance deal, and even though I told them to take my number off their list, I doubt they actually will.

This whole home appliances insurance thing sounds like a total rip-off to me. Definitely think it’s one of those scams.

After nearly a month without any dodgy calls, this one popped up from 247 Appliances trying to verify info about renewing some kind of electrical cover. They said they wouldn’t send a quote unless a contract was signed first. Told the caller to delete the person’s details from their records, even though they clearly knew GDPR rules. The salesperson was really pushy, acting like they knew better. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

This was total harassment, definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone offering a service plan for electrical stuff. I just ended the call early on, didn’t wait for him to get through his spiel.

I missed a call from this number, but then it somehow locked my phone for nearly a day. Freaky part is, it started picking up sounds from inside my home like there was someone sneaking around. Honestly, it was really creepy.

Got a call from a lady with a really strong Asian accent, she asked for me by my name and said something about appliance insurance. I reckon it’s a scam since I’ve had two other calls just like this today. I’m on the TPS list too, so these calls really shouldn’t be coming through.

Got a call from someone saying they were ringing about renewing my white goods cover. They messed up my name, calling me miss when I’m definitely a mrs, but freaky enough, they knew my address. They told me I could save a lot with their new year offer but said my card had expired. When I asked them to post the documents over, they said no, they need my updated card info first. Just a heads up, the guy sounded proper convincing.

I missed a call from this number earlier and there was no voicemail, so I decided to look it up here. Glad I found the warnings before calling them back. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

They claimed to be from Appliance 247 and wanted to renew a warranty on a washing machine, but couldn’t tell me when it was bought or anything like that. My 91-year-old mum was the one they called, and she doesn’t even own a washing machine. Then they tried to say it was for all appliances! Total scam, no doubt about it.

I just picked up and they hung up immediately. Looks like one of those scam calls to me.

I got a call from an Asian guy saying my warranty on an electrical device had expired. Since I don’t have any kind of insurance that involves phone checks, I told him he must have the wrong number and to stop ringing me. I’ve been getting loads of calls like this lately, and I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

They phoned me claiming it was about renewing my washing machine warranty. The moment they asked for my card info, I told them to send me a letter instead and then the call just got cut off. Pretty believable if you’re not paying close attention. They definitely knew quite a bit about me though.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Appliance 24, saying they could give me cheaper rates on my appliances plus two months free service. They mentioned something about needing a password to use with my current repair company. I asked Caitlin for the password but she wasn’t able to provide it. Then when I asked which appliances I owned, she couldn’t answer that either.

I've had calls from a number beginning with 0203-77 several times on my home phone, but no one ever leaves a message. Feels like it could be one of those scam calls!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Appliance UK, said the cover would include all my electrical stuff. They had my name, address and even said I’d already paid with a Visa card beginning with a 4 (which is normal for all visa cards anyway), but that card was expired and they needed new info. They wanted £29 each month plus a £20 admin charge just to send me the paperwork. The guy on the phone had a foreign accent and kept pushing, but I told him straight up I don’t share my details with strangers. Got fed up and hung up on him!
