They keep ringing me loads, like several times a week or even the same day since 11/2018, saying i was “involved in an accident”. I told them to get lost, asked nicely to stop calling loads of times, blocked them every time but they just keep swapping numbers!

Some bloke rang saying he wanted to check I was getting all the cash I should after a crash, calling it ‘expenses’. I asked where they got my number, and he reckoned it was ‘opted in’. When I wanted to know who I’d opted in with, he just said ‘a third party’. Then he came clean that he wasn’t with any insurance firm. Smells like one of those dodgy ambulance chaser scams.

They just shut up and drop the call. Like others have mentioned before, I reckon this is a mistake trying to reach someone else. Ive blocked a bunch of their numbers but they keep coming back with a new one, only the final two digits are different. Proper annoying!

Got a call from this number today - automated voice claiming I was in a solo conference call! - then nothing but silence - tried calling back - went straight to an error tone - what a shocker - now blocked the number.
