We hardly ever answer the landline unless my husband fancies having a bit of fun with these callers. It’s nearly always one of these dodgy numbers, if not this exact one. Today, they were asking for someone called 'Sharon'. Since there's no Sharon here, my husband said, "She’s not home right now, can I pass on a message?" The answer was, "We just wanted to thank Sharon for her donation to support the Blind." If they ring again asking for Sharon tomorrow, we’ll be all set!

This number keeps ringing me but I never pick up now, so I block it. Then they call from another number, so I just ignore those too and keep putting them on the block list.

Just got a call from this number and when I said I wasn't interested, the bloke told me to "f### off" and hung up. It’s one of those PPI calls, but I’m convinced the same number is also used in that Windows tech scam cos they told me to go forth and multiply too! Wish there was something that could be done about these muppets.
