About 10 minutes back, I got a call from this number. The bloke was chatting about my internet bill going up and somehow knew my address too. When I asked where he got my number from, he said it came from some survey they’d done. But when I started asking more about this survey, he suddenly got really cheeky. I asked why he was being so rude, and he snapped that he didn’t like being called a scammer - which I never even said! Right after that, he just hung up on me.

Over the past few months, this number has been bombarded with calls from a chap named Charlie, tallying up to around ten times! Curiously, he always claims to represent 'Argentex Group' in the Foreign Exchange industry, yet I’ve never figured out what exactly he offers, as he’s only ever keen to chat with the specific contact he has on record. It’s quite the exercise in futility, really! If only he would relent and allow me to express our disinterest, but he’s so determined it’s like trying to get a word in with a whirlwind! It's not outright dodgy, but blimey, he’s certainly a persistent telemarketer!

Charlie from Pacific was insistent that our finance director would answer his call, claiming they had previous conversations. However, our charming finance director brushed it off, saying he was spinning tales. Nice try, Charlie, but you’ll need to up your game if you want to get by me!

Argentex, I guess they’re some kind of forex outfit? I told them no thanks, but they kept ringing me a few times and just dropped the call each time. Bit daft if you ask me. Blocked the number straight away.

I received a rather unpleasant phone call from an impolite cold caller who had the audacity to ask for the Managing Director. They fumbled the name dreadfully, making it abundantly clear they had no prior knowledge of whom they were looking for. Upon informing them that the MD was not available, they promptly terminated the call. Strangely enough, this isn't the first time I've noticed missed calls from this number. Quite bothersome, really!

I recently received a rather unpleasant phone call where the caller was after our Finance Director. When I mentioned he was currently occupied in a meeting and offered to take a message, the individual on the other end was quite curt. He simply shot back with a flat "No!" before promptly disconnecting the call. Frankly, with that sort of attitude, there's absolutely no way I'm putting them through next time!

They'll assert that they're acquainted with your manager, or that your manager is aware of them and intends to ring back at a later time. You can hear the hustle and bustle of a call centre in the backdrop. Clearly, they're just peddling some product or service. They can ring me as often as they like, but I shan't be passing their calls along to any of the directors.

Received a call from the PACIFIC GROUP regarding overseas transactions. They typically inquire about the directors and put on a brave front. If you veer off the usual line of questioning, they tend to cut the conversation short. Best to steer clear!
