I got a call from them too but I don’t live in the UK, so I just ignored it. Didn’t bother answering at all.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent, barely caught what he was saying. Said it was for a survey from the Financial Times. We're just a tiny firm based in Belgium, so no clue why the Financial Times would want to chat with us.

I’m living abroad but saw it was a UK number and picked up. A woman speaking with an American accent said something like, "you've been removed from this call," then just ended the call straight away. Strange experience!

As a Brit residing abroad, I picked up the phone thinking it was a call from the UK. To my surprise, I was greeted by an American woman’s voice proclaiming, “You’ve been removed from this call,” before abruptly disconnecting. How odd!

Got a call from someone in India on our business phone, talking about some kind of survey. I told him we’re on the TPS and that unsolicited calls are against the law. Asked him to take our info off their list or we’d have to report it to the cops if they rang again. He didn’t seem to get what I was saying, so I just ended the call with a quick goodbye.

Got a call from some Indian call centre asking for my dad, who’s been dead for 6 years now. Obviously, I wasn’t too pleased about that. Asked to speak to a manager, but all they said was he was stuck in a meeting. Felt like a load of rubbish to me.

Received a call at 8:15 in the morning on the 29th of August, which happened to be a Bank Holiday Monday. The caller specifically asked for my son by name. When I informed them that he wasn't around, they promptly disconnected the line.

At about half past eight in the morning, my landline buzzed with a call from this number. I was awake by then, but I was a bit annoyed to see a number I didn’t know, so I let it ring out. They never left a voicemail or anything.

Got a call from an unknown number and wasn’t sure who it was, so I looked it up on Google and came across this site along with loads of comments. Cheers for the info! I blocked the number straight away. Seriously, grab a phone that can block calls - you need it. Loads of scammers and dodgy characters out there.

Just after midday today, our phone went off while I was busy getting our evening meal ready. I put everything on hold to pick up the call, only to be met with complete silence from the other end. It’s utterly rude; companies and individuals who act this way really shouldn't be interacting with the public at all. Such conduct is absolutely appalling!
