I received a rather suspicious voicemail from this number stating it was from HMRC, threatening me with legal consequences if I didn't settle my tax payments. The tone of the message was incredibly shoddy and definitely lacked the professionalism one might expect from an official government body. It was clear to me right away that it was a scam.

Got a recorded call saying it was HMRC and telling me to get in touch with my solicitor right after I finished the call. I ended it straight away. This is actually the second time I've had one of these calls, and a mate didn’t hang up last time and did what they said, so I knew it was dodgy. I've blocked the number and reported it to HMRC now.
