They started off talking about some health survey, but when I told them my name wasn’t Jack, they just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone with a thick accent who refused to give their name unless I asked. They mentioned something about an alarm system and insisted I had to pay for the upcoming 12 months. It seemed dodgy, so I held back from sharing any details. Then they handed me a number 08001026298 to check if they were legit. Of course, I never bothered to ring it.

Pretty sure this is a scam number. My BT home phone blocked their voicemail, which makes me think it's dodgy...?!
