As soon as I picked up, they cut the call off, seems like one of those automated systems just checking if the number's active.

This number called me earlier and the lady on the phone had such a strong accent that I could hardly catch what she was saying. She was telling me something about my Amazon subscription about to expire. I just said alright and hung up straight away. Thing is, I’ve never had any kind of Amazon subscription in the first place.

Got a call from someone claiming to be David Wilson at Amazon. Had a really odd foreign accent and kept calling me ma’am like I was some kind of customer or something. He said my bank was being billed for Amazon Prime, but I don’t even have that. When I told him only I would know about any charges, he just cut me off. What a total pain!

Someone said they were from Amazon Prime and that they were calling me back about cancelling my account. I asked if that was true and then they just ended the call.

Somebody rang saying they were from Amazon about a new subscription thing. I was a bit tied up and asked them to call again after 4pm. Now that I'm aware it might be dodgy, I kinda hope they actually do ring back!

Got a call from this number claiming to be Virgin Media. Told them to stop ringing because I knew they weren’t really from Virgin Media. The person on the other end just shouted some rude stuff like “f*** off” a few times. Pretty sure that’s a dead giveaway it’s a scam trying to mess with people. Blocked straight away.

This morning, a call came through from this number claiming to be Amazon. They said my free Prime trial had ended and I was being billed £39.99 monthly. They told me to open AnyDesk on my computer. But as soon as I did that, the call was abruptly ended. Within just three minutes, I noticed three attempts to access my Amazon account, all of which I blocked. I quickly switched my Amazon password and got in touch with Amazon, who confirmed the call was fake. Clearly, this is a scam trying to break into your Amazon account.
