Some guy calling himself 'Alec' said he was ringing from O2, trying to get me to renew and upgrade my business phone contract. Thing is, I’ve never even had a contract with them! I ended up giving him a load of false info just to keep him chatting. To be honest, he was quite polite throughout, so I'll give him that much.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from O2, apparently trying to offer me an upgrade because they said I’ve been with them for ages. I told the bloke my number's actually been with Vodafone for about 15 years, but he just kept insisting I must've switched over at some point. Ended up keeping him chatting on the phone for as long as I could just for a laugh.

Got a call from some bloke named Ranjit claiming to be from O2, trying to flog me a contract upgrade. Problem is, I’m not even with O2 and haven’t got a contract! Decided to mess about and keep him on the line for a bit. Didn't go down well when I called him out calling him a scammer and turned the tables on him. He ended up hanging up pretty sharpish 😂 Ranjit seriously thought he had me fooled - nah mate, too quick for that lot!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from O2 trying to pitch some deals. I called him out straight away as a scammer, and honestly, he just chuckled and then ended the call.

Today, I had a rather unsettling conversation with a lady who claimed to be affiliated with an agency of sorts. She inquired about an incident involving a vehicle collision. It struck me that her intentions seemed suspicious, almost as if she was attempting to coax me into fabricating an insurance claim. Quite a perilous situation!

Got a call from somewhere in Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra - kinda near Pune, India. The person on the other end claimed to be linked with O2, trying to help me with my contract renewal. I told them I was tracking their location and had already got the Indian Police involved. After that, they just said it’s best I ring O2 myself to sort things out and then abruptly ended the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, total scam! Can't be bothered dealing with these fraudsters at all.

Initially, they said they were from 02, but when I questioned them, they changed their story and said they were from an agency working on behalf of 02. I told them straight up that they sounded like scammers and just ended the call.

It started to feel fishy when the person had no clue about the details of my existing plan. Before making any decisions, I looked up the number and honestly, it was a good call. I’ve blocked them now.

Absolute rip offs, these lot. Dont trust a single thing they say - they’re just after your personal details and tell lies to get it. Proper criminals if you ask me, should be locked up. These dodgy scam people are just nasty and sneaky. Best just to block their number and be done with it. I wonder why the cops don’t do more to catch these pests? Honestly, they can shove it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "lavid" trying to get me to update my 02 mobile contract. Thing is, I’m not even with 02 and don’t have any contract at all. Normally, I’d mess about with them for ages, but I was a bit tied up today. Be careful with these sorts of calls - they just want to grab whatever info you’ll give so later scam calls seem more legit. Definitely best avoided.

Got a call from this numbr and when i told the bloke i thought he was tryin to scam me, he went off on me proper with bad language. Some real terrible folks with no shame or right from wrong. They seem to love breaking the law. He even said he loved what he does and called me a fool like all the others. Some bloke phoned me from this number and when I called him out for scamming, he started shouting at me proper nasty. They’ve got zero respect or decency these kind of people. Seems like they take pride in breaking the law. He even said he loved doing it and called me a mug just like everyone else. Why haven’t the cops nabbed these lot yet? 7727??? Got a voicemail from this number saying it was from HMRC. I rang them back and surprisingly someone actually answered, no automated options or anything. Just a heads up, HMRC won’t call you out of the blue like this - they always send letters if there’s a problem. Definitely a scam, so do NOT hand over any personal info!
