020 3769 7922 has been ringing our landline here in Lanarkshire recently. We didn’t pick up the call but there have been three other calls from numbers that look almost the same. Out of the four calls, we did answer two but there was just dead silence on the other end. I’d say it’s best not to pick up when these numbers come up as they all seem to be related. The numbers we got are 020 3857 7326, 020 3853 4250, and 020 3859 6492. They’re all quite similar and it feels pretty suspicious. Definitely wouldn’t answer them again because the quiet when you do picks up is a bit fishy.

I’ve had a few calls from this number and it seems like Scottish Power is really pushing hard to get people to install these "smart" meters. They seriously messed up by using a call centre in India to handle these calls.

Couple of weeks ago, I kept getting calls from a number ending in 877, saying they were from Scottish Power. They called pretty much every day for a few weeks, but after a while I just ignored them and they finally stopped. Then, since this Monday, I’ve been getting calls everyday from a different number ending in 922. Same lot saying they’re from Scottish Power. I just let my answer machine pick up and they never leave a message, just hang up. Bit odd that the form wouldn’t let me submit the numbers just as digits. Felt a bit strange.

This number keeps ringing my landline almost every day, sometimes even twice a day. I picked up a few calls at the start but it just sounded like someone overseas answering, so I ended up hanging up. Now I’m letting the answer machine take the calls, though they often hang up just before it picks up. Saw others mention it’s a genuine Scottish Power number, so I guess that’s what it is.

The moment the answering machine picked up, the caller just dropped the line. Could be one of those Indian scammers again? Or maybe it's Scottish Power bugging their clients? If Scottish Power's actually got some Indian call centre doing the calls, they really aren’t thinking straight - everyone’s well aware of what those call centres tend to get up to!

I received a call earlier today from the same number, claiming to be with Scottish Power, stating they were in my area and wanted to know if I’d consider having a smart meter installed. The bloke's tone put me on edge; it just felt off. Definitely sounded like a dodgy scam to me. Stay vigilant, everyone! I’d suggest reporting and blocking 020 3769 7922.
