I didn’t really entertain the call. They never said who they were, just jumped straight in asking if I was 11712 or something like that? I asked nicely who they were but before I could get an answer, they started their usual spiel so I just cut them off and said I wasn’t interested. If someone doesn’t properly introduce themselves, I get suspicious fast - feels like they’re up to something. It’s sad because someone less careful might get tricked into losing money.

So these forex bankers called me, and it turned out they had loads of my personal info - like my full name, where I live, and even my email. They said I signed up through some online form a couple of months back, but I never did anything like that. When I asked them to erase all my info, the lady on the phone refused and wouldn’t delete anything. Really frustrating!
