Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise.

Got a call from some American bloke at an office who kept trying to pronounce my name, but just couldn’t get it right. I told him I’m on the telephone preference list, and after that he just said sorry and hung up. Later, I called the number myself, adding 141 at the front, and got a recorded message with an American voice saying an agent would be with me shortly.
