Got a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse offering me a new phone. They asked for my personal info, said I had to send my old phone to them. Turns out the return address they gave was actually the scammers’ own home. Proper dodgy scam!

This number has popped up on my spam list first thing, but weird thing is, it's rang me a couple of times over the past three days.

They rang but didn't bother to leave a message.

I got a missed call but didn’t answer 'cos I use call screening and they never left a message or anything. I decided to ring back and all I got was this voice saying “hello, hello, can you hear me?” and somehow it even said my name? I’m wondering if it’s one of those fake AI calls that tries to record you talking or something sketchy like that???
