Phone number ☎️ 02037695670 👆 is reported as a persistent scam targeting individuals with unsolicited calls and messages claiming involvement in recent car accidents. Callers, often using scripted or automated voices, pressure recipients to confirm false accident details, supposedly sourced from a non-existent "Road Traffic Accident Department." Many complain about invasive tactics, rude behaviour, and difficulty stopping the calls despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The operation also extends to WhatsApp messages and texts, promoting a dubious "Claim Law" website and promising compensation to lure victims. The calls are frequently linked to overseas call centres, and attempts to challenge or inquire about the legitimacy result in abrupt hang-ups or mockery. Users advise blocking the number, ignoring calls, and urge government action to prevent such harassment.

Got a couple of phone calls from 0203 155566 claiming to be from Swinton Insurance. They said something about a car accident in the past three years, but seemed a bit dodgy to me. Caller said it was Swinton Insurance, but I’m not convinced.

Today I received a call on my mobile from 02036349839, with the caller claiming to be from Claim Law wanting to verify a recent car accident I supposedly had, though I haven’t been in any accident. Initially, it came across as just a typical cold call from what sounded like an Indian call centre. But the weirder thing was that the “person” on the other end wouldn’t answer any of my questions properly, making me think it was one of those automated voice response systems that did a pretty poor job understanding me. Then, eventually the call got transferred to a supervisor, a proper human, but he was speaking from an extremely noisy background. He stuck to the same accident script, but when I asked about where they got my info from, he admitted the first call was recorded and said their source was supposedly the Road Traffic Accident Department or something like that, which I don’t think actually exists. Just as I was about to explain there was no accident, he abruptly hung up, probably getting irritated. So he never got the full story! - Caller ID: Claim Law.

This company is an absolute rip-off. They promise you'll receive some compensation, but all you end up with is a load of stress. The guy who runs the place is a total prat.

So at half past eleven this morning, a woman rang me claiming I’d been in an accident. Thought I’d play her game for a bit. I told her, “Yeah, I had a minor accident a few weeks back.” She sounded surprised, asking where it happened - bit strange since you’d think they’d already have that info, right? I dodged her question with something like, “These things tend to happen more as you get older.” She kept pushing about the location, so I said, “Sainsbury’s.” I was taking the mick, and after a while she caught on we were on different pages about what kind of accident I meant. She hung up pretty quick after that. Honestly, it was quite a laugh!

Got a call around 1.25pm today, 31 March 2015, telling me I’d been in an accident - which is completely untrue. When I asked where they got my phone number from, they just hung up straight away. This kind of thing needs to be stopped. Elderly folks shouldn’t have to deal with these nasty calls. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so how on earth do they have my details? Someone really needs to put an end to this!

Someone really needs to put an end to these pathetic people, they deserve no less! I've resorted to checking every call with 1471 and then looking up the number online. Seriously, with the tech we have nowadays, it should be dead easy to block these scammy nuisance calls from landlines altogether. Why isn’t this sorted yet?

I've had two calls from this number now, but each time it's just been silence with no one actually talking or any kind of voicemail. It's really irritating and a bit of a pointless hassle. I don't get how calls like these dodge the TPS rules?

This number has rung me a few times now. A female voice asks if I've been in an accident, but as soon as you try to ask anything else, she only replies to certain questions. It's obvious she's not human, just some automated system going through a script. They’re just fishing for a ‘yes’ so they can pass you over to their salespeople. I tested it by asking something random, like what the weather was like, and the recording totally froze. When I called them out on it, they said they'd “fire” the girl immediately! Yeah right, like anyone believes that. Honestly, they must think we're mugs.

Got a call today, same old spiel - “How are you today?” I asked who was calling and they said it was Claim Law. Then she asked if I'd been in any accidents where it wasn’t my fault in the past three years. I told her no and she just hung up straight away. Looked up the number afterwards and found out it’s famous for this kind of cold calling. They really had no business contacting me since I’m registered on the TPS list. Caller was from Claim Law.

Like a few others, got a ring from a lady with a very English name, which was odd since these calls usually come from Asian-sounding numbers. She said something like "ClaimLaw" or "CleanLaw" and claimed I’d been in a car crash. I just ended the call straight away - seems like one of those dodgy scams where they try to gather referrals to pass on to barely legit lawyers. Avoid "ClaimLaw" or "CleanLaw" if you get a call - it’s just a car accident scam.

Got a call from a woman who spoke perfect English. She said something about someone at my place having a crash in the past three years. I didn’t wanna say anything straight away and asked her how she knew that. She claimed it was from the RTA Department, like the Road Traffic Accident Department or something. When I pressed her for the location of this RTA place, she just dropped the call. Just so you know, we’re registered with the TPS, so this felt dodgy to me.

Got a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, saying I was involved in a car crash - which is rubbish, as I’ve never had an accident. This keeps happening every few weeks, maybe two or three times monthly, and it’s really annoying. Most of the time they ring on a Saturday, though it could be any day. Brummie accent, started off by saying I’d been in a crash. I told her she was talking rubbish and to stop ringing me. She just said “no” and we went back and forth like that for a bit. Eventually I let out a loud, squeaky “Aah” - got a proper loud voice too! After that, she just hung up. What a strange call!

I got a call from a lady at first, but by the end it was all robotic and the voice didn’t seem to catch what I was saying. They claimed they had info saying I’d been in an accident in the last three years and asked me to confirm it. I asked where they’d got that from and they said the Road Traffic Accident Fund. Honestly, someone should look into this “Road Traffic Accident Fund” and find out if they’re actually passing on wrong info or if these companies are just sourcing their lists from somewhere dodgy. Just so you know, I’ve been driving for 38 years and never had a single accident! But I did recently renew my car tax - maybe that’s the real connection here! Maybe the government should be the ones investigating this mess...

They told me to ring +442031290785 or check out claim-law.co.uk. Definitely seems dodgy! Caller ID was +1 (858) 247-0971.

Today I received a message on WhatsApp like the ones people have talked about here. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. Hopefully others do the same! The caller showed up as +1 (747) 236-1282 but wanted me to ring this number instead: 02037695670.

I got a message on WhatsApp saying I could claim compensation for an accident. How on earth did they get hold of my phone number?

Another telemarketer ringing me up and making stuff up about my situation when they have no clue at all! Really hope they start hitting these crooks with proper big fines soon!

Got a WhatsApp from +86 139 2720 2197 telling me to get in touch ASAP about some accident?? They said to ring +44 203 769 5670 or check out http://claim-law.co.uk but honestly I’m ignoring it after seeing what everyone else said here. Definitely not replying.

Got a WhatsApp from +1 (513) 437 2159 with a link to Claim-Law.co.uk, and another UK number starting with 0203 attached. They said I could claim up to £5,100 for a recent accident, but I haven’t had any accident at all. Bit fishy if you ask me. - caller: +1 (513) 437 2159

Got a WhatsApp from +86 156 1781 3648, showing as a China Unicom line. The message mentioned claim-law.co.uk, which I found is registered by Ibrama Communications and hosted through namecheap.com. The address they gave is 14 Tottenham Court Road, but when I checked, there are loads of companies listed at that address, many of which have been dissolved. Honestly, this has "scam" written all over it.

A message popped up on WhatsApp from 07407 715501, sharing a link to Claim-Law.co.uk along with the 0203 number mentioned here. When I dialled that 0203 number, someone answered saying they were from the Ministry of Transport in Manchester, but the address they gave me sounded completely fake.

Received a message from 07826 653312 about claiming for some accident, with a website and another contact number 020 3769 5670 included. I told them that sending random messages like that is against the law, but they never bothered to reply. Quite rude if you ask me.

In both instances, they said they were official solicitors or working for the government, which is obviously not true. Once I started taking a more serious approach, they got really cocky and even laughed off the fact that the number I gave wasn’t right. They were so cheeky they even rang me again just to have a laugh at me! Honestly, they seem quite dangerous and seem to know a lot about legal processes. The call was mostly about an alleged car crash, and at one point they asked for my car’s registration details.

Got a message off some lot about an accident I supposedly had - which is a total lie since I’ve never been in one (fingers crossed). They sent me a website link but Norton jumped in and blocked it, saying it wanted to grab info from my pc. Proper sketchy if you ask me. The caller ID was Claim-law . co . uk.

Received a call earlier today inquiring about a road mishap. My partner remarked, 'We haven't encountered one yet, but you're on the radar for the next!'
