Phone number ☎️ 02037695670 👆 is reported as a persistent scam targeting individuals with unsolicited calls and messages claiming involvement in recent car accidents. Callers, often using scripted or automated voices, pressure recipients to confirm false accident details, supposedly sourced from a non-existent "Road Traffic Accident Department." Many complain about invasive tactics, rude behaviour, and difficulty stopping the calls despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The operation also extends to WhatsApp messages and texts, promoting a dubious "Claim Law" website and promising compensation to lure victims. The calls are frequently linked to overseas call centres, and attempts to challenge or inquire about the legitimacy result in abrupt hang-ups or mockery. Users advise blocking the number, ignoring calls, and urge government action to prevent such harassment.

Today I received a call on my mobile from 02036349839, with the caller claiming to be from Claim Law wanting to verify a recent car accident I supposedly had, though I haven’t been in any accident. Initially, it came across as just a typical cold call from what sounded like an Indian call centre. But the weirder thing was that the “person” on the other end wouldn’t answer any of my questions properly, making me think it was one of those automated voice response systems that did a pretty poor job understanding me. Then, eventually the call got transferred to a supervisor, a proper human, but he was speaking from an extremely noisy background. He stuck to the same accident script, but when I asked about where they got my info from, he admitted the first call was recorded and said their source was supposedly the Road Traffic Accident Department or something like that, which I don’t think actually exists. Just as I was about to explain there was no accident, he abruptly hung up, probably getting irritated. So he never got the full story! - Caller ID: Claim Law.

Today, at half eleven on the 31st of March, I received a call from a woman droning on about some incident I supposedly had. Naturally, I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it. "Indeed, I did have a minor mishap a few weeks back," I responded. She seemed intrigued, exclaimed, "Oh, really?" I feigned surprise, "Yes, I thought I’d managed to keep it under wraps. How kind of you to show such concern!" She then probed with, "Where did it occur?" Quite amusing, really, considering she should've known that already! I let her query slide, retorting, "These things tend to happen as one ages." Undeterred, she persisted with her nosy question. I casually replied, "At Sainsbury's." You can guess where I was steering the conversation! Soon enough, it dawned on her that we were discussing entirely different sorts of accidents. She hung up after that, but I must say, I thoroughly relished the exchange!

I received a rather alarming phone call today around 1:25 pm, on the 31st of March, 2015, claiming that I had been involved in an accident? I enquired about how they managed to obtain my number, but they abruptly hung up on me! It’s quite unacceptable that these types of calls are still happening. It's particularly distressing for elderly folks who shouldn’t have to endure such harassment. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I cannot fathom where they sourced my information from. Can something be done to put an end to this nonsense?

I wholeheartedly support anyone who takes action against these rather pathetic individuals! I've resorted to checking numbers through 1471 and then searching them online. But honestly, why is it necessary? In this age of advanced technology, it should be straightforward to cut off these scam artists from making calls!

I've received a handful of calls from this number. Each time, a lady's voice inquires whether I've had an accident. However, when I start probing deeper, it becomes quite apparent that she can only respond to a limited range of questions, as it's all a part of a pre-set, robotic script rather than a genuine conversation. All they seem to be after is for me to say "yes" so they can pass me off to one of their so-called consultants. It's amusing how flustered she gets if I throw her a curveball, like asking what the weather's like; the system just goes offline! When I called them out on this, their response was that they would let the poor girl go immediately. It's a laugh, really - they must think we’re simpletons!

Got a call today, same old spiel - “How are you today?” I asked who was calling and they said it was Claim Law. Then she asked if I'd been in any accidents where it wasn’t my fault in the past three years. I told her no and she just hung up straight away. Looked up the number afterwards and found out it’s famous for this kind of cold calling. They really had no business contacting me since I’m registered on the TPS list. Caller was from Claim Law.

Like a few others, got a ring from a lady with a very English name, which was odd since these calls usually come from Asian-sounding numbers. She said something like "ClaimLaw" or "CleanLaw" and claimed I’d been in a car crash. I just ended the call straight away - seems like one of those dodgy scams where they try to gather referrals to pass on to barely legit lawyers. Avoid "ClaimLaw" or "CleanLaw" if you get a call - it’s just a car accident scam.

Got a call from a woman who spoke perfect English. She said something about someone at my place having a crash in the past three years. I didn’t wanna say anything straight away and asked her how she knew that. She claimed it was from the RTA Department, like the Road Traffic Accident Department or something. When I pressed her for the location of this RTA place, she just dropped the call. Just so you know, we’re registered with the TPS, so this felt dodgy to me.

I received a phone call from a chap who sounded Asian, asking about some alleged car crash that I'm supposedly involved in (which is quite absurd as I’ve had no such incident). This has been recurring, typically two or three times a month, and it's rather irritating. Most of these calls land on a Saturday, but honestly, it can happen at any hour. Today, I simply placed the phone down on the table and strolled off; by the time I returned, the line had gone silent. I think I’ll adopt this tactic more often moving forward.

Brummie accent, started off by saying I’d been in a crash. I told her she was talking rubbish and to stop ringing me. She just said “no” and we went back and forth like that for a bit. Eventually I let out a loud, squeaky “Aah” - got a proper loud voice too! After that, she just hung up. What a strange call!

I got a call from a lady at first, but by the end it was all robotic and the voice didn’t seem to catch what I was saying. They claimed they had info saying I’d been in an accident in the last three years and asked me to confirm it. I asked where they’d got that from and they said the Road Traffic Accident Fund. Honestly, someone should look into this “Road Traffic Accident Fund” and find out if they’re actually passing on wrong info or if these companies are just sourcing their lists from somewhere dodgy. Just so you know, I’ve been driving for 38 years and never had a single accident! But I did recently renew my car tax - maybe that’s the real connection here! Maybe the government should be the ones investigating this mess...

I received a rather posh-sounding lady on the line, clearly reading from a script. She had a customary pause before claiming to represent Claim Law and mentioned they had a record of an accident involving someone at my address. The only snag was that she had the misfortune of dialling a business number. I couldn't help but let out a curse before cutting her off. On the bright side, I’ve equipped myself with an Amazon call blocker that holds up to 100 numbers. I’ll swiftly add her to the list to prevent any further nuisance. If you’re considering a similar device, I’d advise picking one up for no more than £30 from Amazon or another reliable retailer.

It's rather puzzling, isn't it? Why do these websites, along with others of their kind, seem to take no action against those irritating nuisance calls? They’re just as bothersome as the scam artists themselves! It feels like all they do is sit back in their comfy chairs, count their earnings from advertisements, and chuckle at all the sensible folk who are rightfully voicing their frustrations. Could it be that they’re somehow involved in these scams themselves? Quite a thought, really!

I wish these irritating phone calls would just cease already! I’m getting an average of three calls each week from this number alone! They keep insisting they’re from a company called "Claim Law," claiming that I was involved in a car accident within the past couple of years. When I inquired about how they’d got hold of my information, they mentioned something about the "Department for Accidents." I find it rather amusing that these blokes keep ringing me about accident claims, usually around four to five times a week. If you happen to recognise the number or the spiel, here's a cheeky little suggestion: Just say, "Hold on a mo, I'll fetch them!" and then set the phone down somewhere safe, leaving them in limbo. For a bit of extra fun, every now and then, you could call out, "Won't be long now!" while you enjoy your tea. It's a right laugh, I must say! 😄

I've received a rather dubious call claiming to be from the so-called Claims Advice Bureau (or 'Claims Law'), insisting they had information linked to the UK's Road Traffic Accident Department. They mentioned that I supposedly had a crash in the past two years and that I was entitled to a payout of £1800, provided I played along with their scheme. What’s truly unsettling is that they had both my name and address, which I can’t fathom how they obtained, since I’m usually extremely cautious with my personal details. I told them straight out that they're nothing but repugnant leeches preying on those in a vulnerable position. It's high time BT put a stop to these crooks by immediately suspending their numbers!

BT really needs to act fast and block these numbers ASAP so they can’t keep ripping folks off. The number was 02037695670.

Got a phone call, not a voicemail, from someone claiming it was about a car crash that wasn't my fault or something like that. They had this Indian accent and sounded like they were reading off a script, and the line was all crackly, maybe from abroad. When I asked them to remove me from their list, they just kept calling and wouldn't stop. I think the caller said something like "Accident Claims Centre" or something similar, but I'm not entirely sure.

Just got a message on Whatsapp from +1 (747) 234-1426 claiming I’m owed £5100 in compensation, with some site called claim-law. Before this, they kept ringing me with a recorded message, which I blocked, but now they’re trying WhatsApp? The numbers they used were 02031290785 and 017472311426. So annoying!

Weirdly got a WhatsApp message claiming I’m entitled to £5100 compensation from some accident I never had. No clue where they got my details from. The message was from +1 (858) 247-0971. They told me to ring +442031290785 or check out claim-law.co.uk. Definitely seems dodgy! Caller ID was +1 (858) 247-0971.

Today I received a message on WhatsApp like the ones people have talked about here. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. Hopefully others do the same! The caller showed up as +1 (747) 236-1282 but wanted me to ring this number instead: 02037695670.

I just received a message on WhatsApp urging me to file a claim for an accident. I'm rather puzzled about how they managed to get hold of my phone number in the first place.

Once again, I've received a rather intrusive cold call! They had the audacity to spin a tale about my situation, despite knowing absolutely nothing about me. I'm eagerly awaiting the implementation of those hefty fines - let's get that underway soon!

I got a WhatsApp message from the number 86 139 2720 2197 urging me to get in touch immediately about some sort of accident. They then instructed me to ring +44 203 769 5670 or check out http:// claim-law.co.uk.

Having seen the remarks left by others here, I’ve decided not to reply and won’t be engaging with them at all.

Got a WhatsApp from +1 (513) 437 2159 with a link to Claim-Law.co.uk, and another UK number starting with 0203 attached. They said I could claim up to £5,100 for a recent accident, but I haven’t had any accident at all. Bit fishy if you ask me. - caller: +1 (513) 437 2159

Got a WhatsApp from +86 156 1781 3648, showing as a China Unicom line. The message mentioned claim-law.co.uk, which I found is registered by Ibrama Communications and hosted through namecheap.com. The address they gave is 14 Tottenham Court Road, but when I checked, there are loads of companies listed at that address, many of which have been dissolved. Honestly, this has "scam" written all over it.

A message popped up on WhatsApp from 07407 715501, sharing a link to Claim-Law.co.uk along with the 0203 number mentioned here. When I dialled that 0203 number, someone answered saying they were from the Ministry of Transport in Manchester, but the address they gave me sounded completely fake.

I received a message from the number 07826 653312, querying if I wished to make a claim regarding an accident. They also included a website link and another phone number: 020 3769 5670. I shot back a reply pointing out that sending unsolicited texts is against the law. Oddly enough, they didn’t bother to acknowledge my response.

It’s quite alarming to note that they present themselves as accredited legal professionals, allegedly sanctioned by the Government, which is evidently not the case. Once I took a more formal stance on the matter, their bravado was astonishing; they seemed almost amused in their dismissal of my concerns related to the phone number. To my astonishment, they even called me back, almost ridiculing me in the process! These individuals are not just overconfident; they possess a concerning amount of knowledge about legal procedures. The main focus of their call revolved around a fictitious car accident, during which they were insistent on obtaining my vehicle registration. It's unsettling, to say the least.

Got a message off some lot about an accident I supposedly had - which is a total lie since I’ve never been in one (fingers crossed). They sent me a website link but Norton jumped in and blocked it, saying it wanted to grab info from my pc. Proper sketchy if you ask me. The caller ID was Claim-law . co . uk.

Received a call earlier today inquiring about a road mishap. My partner remarked, 'We haven't encountered one yet, but you're on the radar for the next!'
