The operation also extends to WhatsApp messages and texts, promoting a dubious "Claim Law" website and promising compensation to lure victims. I've received a couple of phone calls from the number 0203 155566, claiming to be from Swinton Insurance and inquiring about a car accident supposedly from the last three years. The caller made it sound like they were actually representing Swinton.

Today, I received an unexpected call on my mobile from 02036349839, representing Claim Law. They were inquiring about a supposed car accident - one that I can assure you I’ve had no part in. Initially, it felt like a typical cold call coming from an Indian call centre. However, as this person failed to answer any of my questions, it quickly dawned on me that it was likely an automated system attempting to engage with me through voice recognition - and not particularly successfully, I might add. After some back and forth, I was transferred to a supervisor, who, much to my relief, turned out to be a genuine person, albeit one surrounded by considerable background noise. Yet, he too was relentless with their car accident spiel. Eventually, he managed to respond to my queries and claimed that the initial call had been recorded. He mentioned something about them obtaining my information from the Road Traffic Accident Department, which, as far as I’m aware, is a figment of someone’s imagination. Frustratingly, just when I thought I might be able to clear things up, he lost his patience and abruptly ended the call. So, he left none the wiser about the alleged accident that I categorically never experienced! - caller: Claim Law

This company is nothing short of a complete sham! They'll promise you the moon when it comes to compensation, but all you’ll end up with is a whole heap of frustration. The person in charge? Absolute nightmare! Avoid them at all costs!

Today, at half eleven on the 31st of March, I received a call from a woman droning on about some incident I supposedly had. Naturally, I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it. "Indeed, I did have a minor mishap a few weeks back," I responded. She seemed intrigued, exclaimed, "Oh, really?" I feigned surprise, "Yes, I thought I’d managed to keep it under wraps. How kind of you to show such concern!" She then probed with, "Where did it occur?" Quite amusing, really, considering she should've known that already! I let her query slide, retorting, "These things tend to happen as one ages." Undeterred, she persisted with her nosy question. I casually replied, "At Sainsbury's." You can guess where I was steering the conversation! Soon enough, it dawned on her that we were discussing entirely different sorts of accidents. She hung up after that, but I must say, I thoroughly relished the exchange!

I received a rather alarming phone call today around 1:25 pm, on the 31st of March, 2015, claiming that I had been involved in an accident? I enquired about how they managed to obtain my number, but they abruptly hung up on me! It’s quite unacceptable that these types of calls are still happening. It's particularly distressing for elderly folks who shouldn’t have to endure such harassment. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I cannot fathom where they sourced my information from. Can something be done to put an end to this nonsense?

I wholeheartedly support anyone who takes action against these rather pathetic individuals! I've resorted to checking numbers through 1471 and then searching them online. But honestly, why is it necessary? In this age of advanced technology, it should be straightforward to cut off these scam artists from making calls!

I've received a handful of calls from this number. Each time, a lady's voice inquires whether I've had an accident. However, when I start probing deeper, it becomes quite apparent that she can only respond to a limited range of questions, as it's all a part of a pre-set, robotic script rather than a genuine conversation. All they seem to be after is for me to say "yes" so they can pass me off to one of their so-called consultants. It's amusing how flustered she gets if I throw her a curveball, like asking what the weather's like; the system just goes offline! When I called them out on this, their response was that they would let the poor girl go immediately. It's a laugh, really - they must think we’re simpletons!

I received a phone call earlier, and it was the typical sales pitch. The caller began with a friendly, "How are you?" I promptly requested the name of the company, to which she replied, "Claim Law." Then, out of the blue, she inquired if I had encountered any accidents that weren’t my fault in the past three years. I replied in the negative, and she hung up swiftly. After doing a bit of digging, I found that this number has a reputation for these sorts of tactics. They had no business contacting me, especially since I’m registered on the TPS list. The caller identified herself as part of Claim Law.

I received a call quite similar to what others have reported - it was from a woman with a proper English accent, which was rather surprising considering most of these callers often have Asian-sounding voices. She mentioned something about "CleanLaw" or "Claim Law", claiming I had been involved in a car crash. I ended the call right away, as it was clear these were dodgy scammers trying to rake in referrals for some dodgy solicitors. I received a phone call from a woman, clearly a native English speaker. She inquired, "I believe someone at your address has been involved in an accident in the past three years... is that right?" I opted not to respond and instead probed her about her source of information. She claimed it was from the RTA, which I assumed stood for the Road Traffic Accident Department. Curiosity piqued, I asked where this RTA was located, but just as I was about to dig deeper, she hung up. Mind you, we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I found this rather puzzling.

I received a phone call from a chap who sounded Asian, asking about some alleged car crash that I'm supposedly involved in (which is quite absurd as I’ve had no such incident). This has been recurring, typically two or three times a month, and it's rather irritating. Most of these calls land on a Saturday, but honestly, it can happen at any hour. Today, I simply placed the phone down on the table and strolled off; by the time I returned, the line had gone silent. I think I’ll adopt this tactic more often moving forward.

I received a call from a woman with an English accent claiming that I'd been involved in a car crash. I quickly told her she was just a cheeky liar and demanded she hang up. I received a call from a woman, but as the conversation wore on, her voice took on a more robotic tone and it felt like she wasn't really engaging with my replies. She claimed they had information suggesting I had been involved in an accident within the last three years, and requested my confirmation on that. Naturally, I inquired about the source of this information, and she mentioned the Road Traffic Accident Fund. This raises a significant red flag; someone ought to look into this "Fund" to ascertain why they might be peddling misleading data or, if they aren’t, then it begs the question of where these companies are obtaining their lists. Just to set the record straight - I've been on the road for 38 years without a single accident! Interestingly, I just sorted out my vehicle tax renewal, which seems a tad too convenient. Perhaps the government should consider a proper investigation into these matters...

I received a rather posh-sounding lady on the line, clearly reading from a script. She had a customary pause before claiming to represent Claim Law and mentioned they had a record of an accident involving someone at my address. The only snag was that she had the misfortune of dialling a business number. I couldn't help but let out a curse before cutting her off. On the bright side, I’ve equipped myself with an Amazon call blocker that holds up to 100 numbers. I’ll swiftly add her to the list to prevent any further nuisance. It's rather puzzling, isn't it? Why do these websites, along with others of their kind, seem to take no action against those irritating nuisance calls? They’re just as bothersome as the scam artists themselves! I've received a rather dubious call claiming to be from the so-called Claims Advice Bureau (or 'Claims Law'), insisting they had information linked to the UK's Road Traffic Accident Department. They mentioned that I supposedly had a crash in the past two years and that I was entitled to a payout of £1800, provided I played along with their scheme. What’s truly unsettling is that they had both my name and address, which I can’t fathom how they obtained, since I’m usually extremely cautious with my personal details. I told them straight out that they're nothing but repugnant leeches preying on those in a vulnerable position. It's high time BT put a stop to these crooks by immediately suspending their numbers!

Received a call on my landline while nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Much appreciated for the details, chaps! That number is now firmly blocked!

I recently received a rather dubious call claiming to be from the 'Claims Advice Bureau' (or something along those lines), asserting that they had information from the UK government's Road Traffic Accident Department. They insisted that I had been involved in an accident within the last two years and that I was due a compensation payout of £1,800, but only if I played along with their demands. It’s all utter nonsense, isn’t it? What’s particularly troubling is that they somehow had access to my name and address. I’m usually quite vigilant with my personal information, so I’m at a loss as to how they obtained it. In any case, I told them exactly what I thought of their scam - a despicable bunch of opportunists preying on those who might be struggling. It’s high time that BT put a stop to these scammers by promptly suspending their numbers! - caller: 02037695670

Just had a rather dubious phone call - not a text, mind you. It was all about some car collision that supposedly wasn’t my doing. The voice sounded distinctly Indian, and it was clearly reading from a prepared script, with that annoying crackle on the line that hinted at some overseas connection. I asked them to remove my number from their list, but of course, they completely ignored my request. If memory serves, the caller claimed to be from some accident advice bureau or something similar - can’t recall the exact name though.

I recently received a WhatsApp message from the number + 1 (747) 234-1426, claiming I was owed £5,100 in compensation and directing me to a website called claim-law. This isn't the first time I've encountered this lot; they had been ringing me with an automated message, but I managed to block them. Now they've resorted to WhatsApp! Can you believe it? The original numbers I dealt with were 02031290785 and 017472311426.

Received a rather dubious WhatsApp text claiming I’m owed £5100 for some alleged accident. The kicker? I’ve never had an accident and haven’t a clue how they obtained my number. The message was from +1 (858) 247-0971, and it instructed me to either ring +442031290785 or check out claim-law.co.uk. Just goes to show, doesn’t it? Beware of such nonsense from +1 (858) 247-0971!

Today, I received a WhatsApp message that bore a striking resemblance to the ones others have reported. I've gone ahead and blocked the number! I sincerely hope that everyone else takes the same precaution! The caller was +1 (747) 236-1282, but they had the cheek to ask me to ring them back on 02037695670.

I just received a message on WhatsApp urging me to file a claim for an accident. I'm rather puzzled about how they managed to get hold of my phone number in the first place.

Once again, I've received a rather intrusive cold call! They had the audacity to spin a tale about my situation, despite knowing absolutely nothing about me. I'm eagerly awaiting the implementation of those hefty fines - let's get that underway soon!

I got a WhatsApp message from the number 86 139 2720 2197 urging me to get in touch immediately about some sort of accident. They then instructed me to ring +44 203 769 5670 or check out http:// claim-law.co.uk.

Having seen the remarks left by others here, I’ve decided not to reply and won’t be engaging with them at all.

I got a message on WhatsApp from +1 (513) 437 2159, which redirected me to Claim-Law.co.uk along with the previously mentioned 0203 number. They reckoned I could claim as much as £5,100 for an accident, but I haven't even had an accident! Quite the bizarre hassle if you ask me. - caller: +1 (513) 437 2159

I received a WhatsApp message from the number +86 156 1781 3648, which appears to be linked to China Unicom. Interestingly, it also points to claim-law.co.uk, a site run by Ibrama Communications, hosted by Namecheap.com. The listed address is 14 Tottenham Court Road, but I’ve discovered that nearly 200 other companies have been associated with that location, many of which have since been dissolved. Honestly, this situation reeks of a scam!

I got a WhatsApp message from the number 07407 715501, which included a link to Claim-Law.co.uk alongside the 0203 number mentioned above. When I rang the 0203 number, they claimed to be associated with the Ministry of Transport in Manchester, but the address they provided sounded completely fabricated.

I received a message from the number 07826 653312, querying if I wished to make a claim regarding an accident. They also included a website link and another phone number: 020 3769 5670. I shot back a reply pointing out that sending unsolicited texts is against the law. Oddly enough, they didn’t bother to acknowledge my response.

It’s quite alarming to note that they present themselves as accredited legal professionals, allegedly sanctioned by the Government, which is evidently not the case. Once I took a more formal stance on the matter, their bravado was astonishing; they seemed almost amused in their dismissal of my concerns related to the phone number. To my astonishment, they even called me back, almost ridiculing me in the process! These individuals are not just overconfident; they possess a concerning amount of knowledge about legal procedures. The main focus of their call revolved around a fictitious car accident, during which they were insistent on obtaining my vehicle registration. It's unsettling, to say the least.

I received a message regarding an accident involving myself, which is quite peculiar considering I've never been in one (fingers crossed). They included a web address, but thankfully Norton intervened and flagged it as a potential threat trying to harvest data from my device. Received a call earlier today inquiring about a road mishap. My partner remarked, 'We haven't encountered one yet, but you're on the radar for the next!'
