Totally a cold call, and the person on the other end was really hard to make out. They kept going on about some ‘call guard’ service, but guess what - they had my address completely wrong! It’s pretty funny how they try to pitch a product to stop annoying calls like the one they just made. The woman claimed she was calling from Bayside Business Centre in Poole. Honestly, with all the complaints about this number, the police ought to have done something about it ages ago. Got a call from a lady with a Chinese accent claiming to be from UK Source Block or some name like that. Before she could even get a word in, I cut her off and said, "Are you trying to get my bank details already?" She mumbled something about just needing my sort code. I got a call from a lady who said her name was Mary, telling me they were offering some kind of call blocking gadget. She claimed I was a “special” client and gave me a discounted price - from £379 down to £179. That’s when I knew something was fishy and just ended the call.
