Got a call from a Mr Mark or Matt Davis from Warmer Homes Insulation around 3.30 pm on Tuesday 30th March 2021. He was quite pleasant to chat with. We set up for a Mr Roger Brooks to come check the loft for Lapolla foam insulation. Roger showed up at 2 pm on Thursday 31st March 2021. Both of the guys seemed professional and nice. Funny enough, it was the Matt or Mark name that made me suspicious about a possible scam. Val

I told them it wasn’t, and then they just cut me off. The bloke spoke super quickly and with this pushy tone, barely giving me a chance to say anything. Felt like they were trying to rush me so I couldn’t really think it through. Almost certainly a scam, if you ask me.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from an energy company, but the moment I called him out for being a scammer, he just cut the call dead. Guess he didn’t have much of a real job after all.

He told me he was an energy consultant around here and said he knew I owned the place. Then asked how I was doing. I pretended not to know what he was on about. He just went over his spiel again word for word. I said I wasn’t interested and he just ended the call.

Some bloke rang up, telling us we’d qualify for a grant to get fibre glass loft insulation, but we haven’t got any grant at all. I was trying to explain we just had the fibre glass replaced with foam, which is the truth. He just wouldn’t listen and ended up hanging up on me. Proper cheeky bloke!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be an energy advisor, asking if I owned the house and how I was doing, then he just hung up on me! This happened two times today. Strange behaviour, not sure what’s going on.

This number called me twice. The first time, when I picked up, they just ended the call straight away. The second time, my partner was the one who answered and she started going on about how our loft insulation was unsafe. Definitely a scam!

I got a call from someone saying it was about energy and they wanted to know if I owned the house. When I told them I wasn’t the owner, they just hung up straight away. It felt pretty disrespectful and annoying since it messed up my work. I don’t know if being the homeowner would’ve made it feel like a scam, but it’s clear to me they only cared about money and didn’t bother with me once I said I wasn’t the right person.

I received a call from 02037 694587, with the individual claiming to be the Energy Adviser for the Devon region. However, I'm quite sure that role doesn't actually exist, and let's not forget that the number has a London area code. It all feels like a blatant ruse to me.
