Dodgy call! The person on the line had a really strong accent and the connection was awful, making it nearly impossible to catch what they were saying. After a while, I figured out they wanted me to change my phone network. They were super pushy and came across quite rude. The whole thing felt really sketchy - I’m pretty sure it was a scam. This was definitely a scam call! They claimed to be from HMRC and asked if I’d paid extra tax, then wanted my bank details so they could supposedly refund me. It seemed really suspicious because HMRC would never ask for personal info or bank details like that. I checked directly with HMRC and they confirmed they don’t operate like that at all. So yeah, this number is a total con, don’t trust it!

I got a call that sounded like it was coming from some dodgy basement setup. They said they were from Carphone Warehouse and started asking me what phone I had. I told them straight up to take me off their list and not to call me anymore. They kept pushing and wouldn’t back off, so I had to just hang up.
