Got a call from Chris, said he’s an energy advisor nearby. No phone number showed up, just “Out of Area,” so sounded like it was from overseas. I looked him up on Google and saw he’s got numbers in Reading and London but also uses foreign ones. When I asked why I couldn't see the number, he just cut me off. After the Amazon scam call yesterday with no number as well, this is starting to feel like some massive scam operation.

I told him I had no clue what an energy advisor was or who this Chris fella was, and that I wasn’t up for a chat. He just ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me, trying to fish for info.

Got a call about checking my loft insulation. I mentioned the house was on the market but the bloke wouldn't take no for an answer. Now he's sending some surveyor over tomorrow and said he'd ring back to confirm. He also threw in some odd personal questions that seemed off-topic, like he was trying to suss out my finances or something. Ended up hanging up pretty quick, no proper customer service or anything.

Some bloke rang me up pretendin to be an energy advisor. Didn’t seem to care I’m on the TPS list, should’ve meant no cold calls! When I asked which company he was from, he wouldn’t say, which set alarm bells ringing straight away. Even if it’s legit, their methods seem pretty sketchy to me. I’d steer well clear of them, no chance I’m dealing with that lot.

I keep getting calls from 02037-693308 quite often. Every time I answer, the answering machine picks up right after just a few rings. I always make sure to have my answer machine on and I never pick up if I don’t know who it is or the number looks unfamiliar. Better safe than sorry, right?
