Today I got a call from this number telling me to purchase an Amazon card. I called them back afterwards, and it seemed like they were just waiting for me to ring first. Watch out for this one, could be a scam!

Got a call to contact this number once my PPI money package showed up, but now they want me to pay £375 in Amazon vouchers to some FedEx guy. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

I was told to call this number when my PPI parcel was scheduled to arrive sometime between 4:30 and 5 in the evening.

bit odd really, but apparently a cop's gonna be with the fed ex bloke when he knocks on his door later on tonight. guess we’ll see what that’s about!

Got a call from some dodgy lot asking me to cough up cash but only through vouchers, which sounded really sus. I've reported it to Action Fraud and have blocked the number now. Proper nasty scammers, that lot.

I got a call from someone claiming to be the “fca” saying I’d won £3750 compensation for PPI. They asked me to hand over a 10% fee to the delivery guy in the form of Amazon vouchers. When I asked a few questions, the caller got really rude. I’ve since reported it to both the fca and action fraud.

I got a call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent. When I tried to find out who I was speaking to, he said his name was David Thomas. He kept going on about some £375 Amazon gift cards I supposedly needed to buy as a “confirmation.” Apparently, a FedEx courier was meant to deliver a sealed envelope with £3750 in cash and some government papers from the FCA. Honestly, they must think everyone is daft. They pulled the same rubbish with a tax scam last year, and now this nonsense. Just a heads-up, don’t let these dodgy characters trick you.

ppi cashback scam. these idiots attempted to con a 74-year-old woman who doesn't even exist, asking for £375 in amazon vouchers. they gave me this number to ring back. i wasn’t sure what the proper format or colour of the vouchers should be, so i had to admit that it was a scam.

They wanted £3,750 from me, then suddenly started enquiring about my home address. Definitely a scam.

Just got a phone call claiming the FCA is handing out £3750, but I’ve got to send them 10% back in Amazon vouchers. Pure nonsense. I work as a PPI manager at a bank, and the FCA wouldn’t be paying out cash like that - banks deal with payments straight to clients. The call came from +44 187530855 (looks like they missed some digits) and they told me to ring back on 02037692431 to “collect” vouchers. Best to steer clear of this one.

Got a call saying I’d won some PPI cash, and that they’d send someone round with it, but I’d have to pay a 10% ‘handling fee’ in Amazon vouchers first. Total scam. I just kept them chatting for a bit, having a bit of fun with it.

been getting loads of calls from 02037694762 just today and even last week claiming i won a ppi payout of £3750, they said it’d be sent to my home later on and id need to pay 20% in cash when i get a letter. they gave me another number to ring if there were issues: 02037692431 - total scam for sure! then the ‘manager’ rang back to confirm a delivery time, i asked a few polite questions and he just hung up on me. honestly, watch out everyone, these scammers are everywhere nowadays - stay safe!

Just got a call from 02037692431 about some PPI claim payout. Not sure if it’s legit or a scam, but anyone else had anything from this number? Seems a bit iffy to me.

I got a call from a different number pretending to be from a firm I once dealt with about a ppi claim, and they gave me this number. After a quick look, I found out the number that contacted me has loads of reports saying it’s a hmre scam. It definitely felt dodgy.
