Don't feel awkward or scared, just question them back. Ask for their office location, contact number, website, email, and even their name. Tell them you’ll come down to their office for a chat. Got a call from him and he started asking me for my bank info, which seemed a bit dodgy.

Somebody called me with a really thick Indian accent, and I couldn't make out what they were saying at all. They somehow knew my name, but I have no clue who they are.

I got a robo call from a woman with an American accent saying she was from HMRC, telling me to ring back straight away or I'd be prosecuted. I just hung up and blocked the number. Honestly, with all the tech we have now, how do these scams still manage to go on? Proper worrying, this.
