5 yearsI received a barrage of calls from this number on the 25th of September, insisting that I was on the brink of being charged for urgent maintenance and that I had to pay forthwith, as it was my final chance. I was rather preoccupied with some workmen tending to repairs in my house, yet they were relentless in demanding my immediate attention. I managed to schedule a return call for later on, and subsequently, decided to disregard their incessant attempts to reach me. Since then, the calls have continued to flood in, always at the most inconvenient moments during my working hours. If Sky genuinely requires any payments from me, they ought to reach out via email or a formal letter instead.Sky5 yearsThey just ended the call abruptly.5 yearsGot a call from a woman claiming to be from Sky, she was really pushy about my maintenance plan. Said it’d be £140 for a year or £170 for two, and if I decided to cancel the one I’ve got, it’d cost me £89 or something like that. I played along for a while, just messing with her, then told her where to shove it. Total #####SCAM##### if you ask me.Sky5 yearsI saw a comment about stopping scammers before anyone falls victim. Clearly, that person hasn’t kept up with current events. These days, scammers are making around £4 million EACH DAY through phone, text, email, and internet cons, scamming lots of people here in the UK. And it’s not just elderly folks being targeted - a lot of the victims are actually between their late teens and thirties. It’d be great if there was a way to report every scam attempt that gets shared here. Maybe that could help somehow.UK5 yearsThese fraudsters need to be stopped pronto, someone’s bound to get tricked soon!5 yearsJust got a call from a new number which I barely got recently, went straight to answerphone and not a single word left. They said it would cost £144.00 to renew it. When I told them I didn’t have any such plan, they then tried to sell me a "deal" for £130.00.
