I keep getting calls from these lot, usually a couple times a day, saying they're from the benefits office. I've warned them that if they don't stop, I'm gonna take it further legally. I'm in my seventies but not daft! If you start answering their questions, you'll probably just get bombarded with even more annoying calls. Honestly, getting one of those referee whistles might actually help, they're pretty effective!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent asking for me by my old surname (been married for more than two years now). When I asked who he was, he claimed to be from 'Benefits UK' - which doesn’t seem to exist at all, I checked. He wanted to ask some 'household questions'.
