I'm extremely tired of receiving these calls, they are such a bloody inconvenience. I am worried that I might overlook an essential call if I choose to ignore it.

My disabled brother is constantly filled with worry due to their actions. Whenever he answers the phone, they immediately hang up. Yesterday alone, he received five calls, and already today, he has endured two more.

Got a call from some bloke asking for (my name), told him he wasn't here, and he just went 'have a nice day'. Sounded like an Indian guy. Looked up the number here and yep, total pain in the neck.

Once again, these imbeciles decided to ring me. They specifically requested me by using my full name, to which I promptly identified myself as "....... ...." However, they abruptly put an end to the call. I wonder if it occurred because I neglected to utter the word "YES." It's rather perplexing why they bothered to phone if they had no intentions of engaging in conversation. Clearly, they are individuals that do not quite fit in.

I usually tell them, 'Yeah, I was in a crash and died. I'm actually chatting with you from my own coffin.' They hang up real quick after that.

I decided to pick up when this number rang again since they been calling nearly daily for a couple weeks now. They said they were from benefits UK and went on and on with loads of nonsense about money I supposedly should be getting. Definitely a scam in my view, and it's quite worrying because some really vulnerable folks might actually fall for it.

Received a call today from someone identifying himself as "Roy or Ray" in an Indian accent. After inquiring about my well-being, he proceeded to bombard me with numerous questions. I expressed my disinterest and requested that my number be removed from their contact list. Nevertheless, I am certain that another call will follow, as they are persistent and unwilling to give up. This situation is highly vexing.

This "Benefits UK" number has been ringing me daily this week. When I answer and stay silent, they usually just hang up, which is really worrying since loads of folks rely on benefits. My elderly parents, who are 90, have applied for attendance allowance and are waiting for a reply, so they might think it's a real call from the benefits office. Honestly, this is just terrible.

I received two calls from this number yesterday. Luckily, due to the call blocker phones I purchased two years ago, they were unable to reach me. These phones have successfully blocked around 300 calls so far. I am extremely pleased with their performance!

They've rung again for the third time today, after a couple calls last week. When I answered, they asked who I was, so I told them I’m the babysitter. The bloke sounded Indian and spoke pretty good English, said he was with Benefits UK. Honestly, I just want them to stop calling as I can tell straight away it’s them. Can you please leave me alone 02037691971?

I received 3 silent phone calls, and then a man with an Asian accent addressed himself as someone from DWP. I responded by loudly telling him to leave and not bother me. It's important for BT to cease providing phone lines to overseas connections. They only keep the profits while we in the UK suffer from scammers targeting us.

Anyone calling from this number is definitely a scammer, the moment you say you're recording, they start swearing at you. Proper low-life scammers.

I frequently receive calls from these individuals who claim to be from the benefits agency. They call me twice a day and it's becoming quite bothersome. I've warned them that if this continues, I will seek legal action against them. Despite being 70 years old, I am not gullible. If you respond to their questions, you will only invite more unwanted callers. My suggestion to all is to equip yourselves with a referee whistle, as it can be effective in deterring such disturbances.

At first, there is silence, followed by the emergence of background noises and finally a voice inquires about my well-being for the day. At that point, I promptly end the call. Occasionally, I disconnect when there is no response or when I come across a foreign speaker. It can be quite bothersome, as I have no interest in engaging in any conversation with them. Consequently, both of our time is being wasted needlessly.

They somehow try to trick you into giving your bank info, pretty sure it was the same caller every time - first said he was from Sky, then Microsoft, and later claimed there was some new Benefit that would go straight into my account!! These scammers from India must believe we’re all daft, why doesn't the ICO just shut down these numbers?? REALLY RISKY, DO NOT PICK UP and BLOCK whenever possible. (K)

In the unlikely event that they choose to speak, he - in this particular situation - displayed rudeness, arrogance, and a tendency to persistently talk over others, disregarding my request for him to be quiet and listen for a change in his unfortunate existence. I have no clue to whom this telephone number belongs, but numerous times I have received silent calls with sporadic human voices speaking languages other than English at the other end. It would be greatly appreciated if Ofcom could promptly address and resolve issues concerning these numbers and others like them.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent asking for me by my old surname (been married for more than two years now). When I asked who he was, he claimed to be from 'Benefits UK' - which doesn’t seem to exist at all, I checked. He wanted to ask some 'household questions'. I told him I don’t do that kind of thing on the phone, then he just said alright, goodbye and cut me off! This number has called me loads of times but mostly I miss it or there’s just silence before they hang up. Definitely dodgy scammers.

totally useless. if they were legit, they’d tell my call blocker who they are. they keep ringing me, i just spot the number on my call log every single day. likely some indian scammer, which is why i got the call blocker. the accent was hard to understand, so i figured it must be dodgy, especially when they started asking about people who’ve died. this number’s just a con to try and nick your bank info pretending to be helpful, proper nasty scammers.
