Somebody claiming to be from Sky's maintenance team called me, turned out to be a blocked number.

So some people called me pretending to be from Sky's maintenance team, saying my contract was about to end and I had to pay all the money right away or I'd lose the deal. Their English was pretty rubbish and they just kept me on the phone trying to get me to pay up. I rang Sky myself afterwards and they told me they’d never get in touch like that. Watch out for these tricks!

Got a call from someone saying he was David Johnson, sounded like he had an asian accent. He kept telling me my sky box insurance was up but i dont even have sky. When i said that, he just ended the call. Total scam.

There was a big silence before the person spoke, sounded like they might be Asian or something. They just said hello and then cut the call right away!

An elderly man got a call from a woman claiming his TV insurance contract had expired. Without suspecting a thing, he ended up giving her his bank details. He then rang me to see if the number was legit. After looking it up on this website, I told him to get in touch with his bank straight away and freeze his account. Definitely a risky number to watch out for!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent chatting about something to do with Sky. I told him straight up, "Isn't this a scam?" and he got all flustered and rude, not sounding like anyone genuine at all. When I asked why he'd bother tricking people into stuff they don't want, he just dropped the call. Proper dodgy character.
