I just received a call, but there was nothing there, the line went dead after about five seconds. Not sure what sort of scam or spam that could be. Really weird.

I had a phone call from someone claiming to be from CarPhone Warehouse, offering me an iPhone 12 at just £28 a month over 18 months. They collected my details and sent an email after the fact. However, I've noticed a deduction of £56.98 from my bank account, but I've yet to receive any sort of confirmation email! They mentioned something about taking an additional £50 from my account, and now I'm left wondering if this is legitimate or just a dodgy scam. Not sure what to think of it all!

I just ignored the calls. Seems like some sort of sales pitch since multiple calls came through from various numbers, but all sharing the same area code.
