Just like I mentioned before, they ring up sayin you’re payin too much for your electricity and want details from your current provider. When I asked them to prove who they were with an official letter or email with their company logo, they hung up on me. Honestly, don’t bother chatting to them - all they want is your contract info.

This number just rang me, some woman with an accent claimed to be calling from the national grid. She kept calling me back, real annoying. When I tried to call the number she gave, it turned out it’s not even real! Seems like a total scam to me.

I received a call from someone claiming there was an issue with my electricity account and that I had an outstanding balance. They wanted me to provide my meter readings.

They then gave me 0800111999, but it didn’t seem legit.

I got a call from 0203763121, and the person said they were calling from the National Grid about an issue with my bill, claiming I hadn’t paid enough. The funny thing is, I don’t even have any electricity or gas connected since it’s just a storage unit I rent. I asked them to send me something in writing and quickly ended the call with a ‘bye’. Then when I tried to ring the number again, it just said “the number you have dialled is not recognised”. Sounds dodgy to me!
