Got a call from what sounded like a landline in Cardiff but could be anything really! This robotic voice was whispering something about "a parcel waiting at the airport that'll soon be destroyed" (sounds like a bomb joke, if you ask me). Then I swear it switched to Mandarin or some other Chinese language? Pretty sure Cardiff Airport is miles away, like 12 hours drive, so the whole thing is just rubbish. Watch out, don’t fall for the scam. Of course, when you ring the number back, it’s dead as a doornail.

Watch out for con artists and dodgy calls. They keep ringing you from one number, then just switch to another one to keep trying.

Got a call from someone claiming they could lower my gas bill, said they were with British Gas. I told them I’d already switched tariffs and had proof from the real company. Then they quickly hung up when I called them out as a scam. Ended up blocking their number straight away.
