They were probing whether tenants of the council or local authority needed to contact their council for damp-related issues. However, when I pressed for more details, the person suddenly disconnected the call.

The phone rang a couple times before I actually picked up, and when I did, there was just silence for a bit and some noise like a busy call centre in the background. I said hello and they just ended the call straight away. So honestly, I can’t tell if it was spam or not. This is the first time I actually answered the number.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent trying to sell me a broadband deal. Their English wasn’t very clear and it felt dodgy from the start. When I hesitated to give my info, they got quite rude and pushy. I ended the call straight away and put that number on my block list.
