At precisely 5:50 in the morning, this number rang us up, requesting our card information. When we declined to provide it, they relentlessy continued to call-seven times in total, if memory serves me right! It certainly gives off the impression of a scam.

A mate of mine recently completed a form that promised a free sign-up, but lo and behold, moments later, he was buzzed by a call at the ungodly hour of 5:55 AM. He politely informed the young lady on the other end that he wasn't keen, as he was still perusing the info. Undeterred, she continued to pester him for his card details. After ending the call, she had the audacity to ring him again! He reiterated his lack of interest, yet she persisted with the card request before he finally hung up on her. To my surprise, she then bombarded him with seven more calls! The noise of the phone roused me from sleep, and after I found out what was going on, I blocked the number. However, she somehow found a way to ring again, so I had to get my provider to block her entirely. It’s clear this is some sort of devious scam at play!
