Got a cold call earlier from someone saying they were with StratX Markets in London. They sounded like they were in one of those busy call centres - you know, all that background chatter. They had my name and number, which was a bit unnerving, but when I mentioned the TPS register they seemed clueless. Definitely felt like they were using some sketchy prospect list, ignoring Data Protection laws and the FSA's guidelines.

They never offered to take me off their call list either, which was a bit cheeky.

Got a phone call from someone who said they were StratX Markets based in London, with all the usual noisy boiler room sounds in the back. They knew my name and number, which was creepy. When I mentioned the TPS register, they acted like they’d never heard of it. Pretty clear they’re just pushing some dodgy list around, ignoring the Data Protection laws and FSA guidelines. I’ve received several calls from this number, but it’s one I don’t recognise at all.

On 12th Feb 2015 at 6:09pm, I got a call on my mobile but there was no voicemail left. I usually don’t bother returning calls from unknown numbers if they don’t say anything. If they ring me a second time without leaving a message, I just block them using Mr Number.
