Got a call on my work phone on 3 March 2025 from someone claiming to be with OpenReach, saying we needed some kind of upgrade. The thing is, we don’t even have BT OpenReach services! I told them no a few times and made sure not to share any info like my name. They just kept going on about how urgent it was, all nonsense. It felt like a proper scam to me. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they could upgrade my broadband to full fibre through their new Openreach setup. Thing is, I don't actually use BT for anything, everything's with Virgin, which runs completely separate from BT or Openreach. Plus, I don’t even have a BT account at all. Feels dodgy, like a total scam to me.
