Got a call today from what said it was Carphone Warehouse, saying they had a better deal for me. Sounded fishy straight away, asking for personal details like they didn’t already have them. Just like others said here, there was a lot of noise in the background and the caller's accent was really thick. They said they were from Carphone Warehouse but then told me I was with EE when I asked (which I'm not). Looks like they're trying this scam again, especially with how many reports have popped up recently. Even if by some chance it’s legit, it’s still an unwanted cold call which isn’t allowed.

A woman rang claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse but had a really thick accent that I found hard to make out.
