Sounds like a total scam, they said they were from Carphone Warehouse and when I asked for an email with info, it came from some dodgy netorgft5254101.onmicrosoft.com address, not the real Carphone Warehouse site. Plus their email was full of typos like CarphoneS WarehouseS. Best to just ignore these calls, folks :)

I got a call from some bloke named Husain, and foolishly I gave him my info since I'd only just switched networks via Carphone Warehouse. After that, random withdrawals started showing up from both O2 and Tesco Mobile.

I got a call about upgrading to an iPhone 13 Pro Max for just £30 a month, with unlimited data and all networks included. No idea how they got my number. From the very start, I felt it was dodgy. Ended up wasting over an hour arguing about random stuff they made up about my life. Had a good laugh though.

They said they were from Carphone Warehouse and at first I trusted them, so I started giving out my details. They kept asking odd stuff like how long I’ve lived at my address and how long I’ve been with my bank. I asked why they needed that info for a phone upgrade! Then they wanted my 16 digit card number - that’s when I knew something was fishy. Also spotted their email was fake - info@carphoneSwarehouseS. No way am I falling for that!

Got a robo call claiming I was about to get arrested for fraud and tax evasion, then it told me to press 1. Of course, I didn’t. The same automated voice came back, but this time it said “goodbye” in a really creepy way. Absolute muppets. Should I bother reporting it to the cops?

My dad, who isn’t very strong with English, got tricked out of cash by these lot. They said there was an amazing offer, but it sounded fishy from the start. The email they sent had loads of spelling mistakes and came from a really dodgy email address. Whenever they picked up on his accent, they’d just hang up on him. Proper con artists! I’ve reported them and blocked the email on my parents' computer to stop it happening again.

Dont just laugh it off. These scammers rob vunerable people of loads of money, otherwise they wouldnt bother. Make sure you report any scam calls or emails to 'Action Fraud'. Thats the only way police can see how bad the problem is. Sometimes they even catch the baddies.

Got a call from someone named olivia who said she was ringing from carphone warehouse. The offer she gave sounded almost too good, so i asked for her email address. The email format looked genuine enough. I then rang back the 0203 number, and the same woman answered. When i asked to speak with olivia, she just said "one minute," cleared her throat, and then went "hello, olivia here". If that isn’t suspicious, i dunno what is.

Then he wanted the long number on my debit card. That’s when I knew something was definitely wrong. I Googled the number while he was still chatting, and all these people had the same complaints. I told him to jog on. Proper scammer. He rang back later but I just sent the call straight to voicemail.

When I asked him to delete my details, he just asked "why?" and then hung up after I said I didn’t want any calls from them. Total scam!

There was this guy talking that I could barely understand, saying he was from Carphone Warehouse. I asked him to say again where he was calling from while I checked the number. When he said 'Carphone Warehouse' again, I told him 'no you’re not.' He then told me to 'F### off' and I just ended the call. Gave me a good laugh!

These lot are scammers pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse. They called me over 10 times today, and when I finally got around to checking with CW, it turned out to be a dodgy number. I told CW they should put a warning up on their website to warn people about this scam. PLEASE DON'T GET CAUGHT OUT BY THIS!
